"The best holiday of the year" - a happy guest
This spacious bungalow, built in 1948, is situated in 83 acres of private land, including ancient woodland, a stream, and wild moorland.
It is in the North Yorkshire Moors National park and situated off the A171 Scarborough to Whitby road. Three miles from the picturesque village of Robin’s Hood Bay, and seven miles from Whitby, there is also a nice walk through the fields to Boggle Hole beach about 2 miles away.
Kirkmoor sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms (two doubles and two twins). There is a dining room and a large lounge both with open log fires. The dining room is home to the nature book where guests can record any interesting wildlife spots. This is a Kirkmoor tradition going back to our first guests in the 1960s! The lounge has books and puzzles for the evenings. The kitchen has a microwave, a fan oven and a large fridge-freezer.
The garden has a large lawn with a sandpit for children, and lots of gardening for more enthusiastic guests. There are 83 acres of land to explore, and at Kirkmoor you can truly get away from it all.
